Day 1 Arequipa - Chivay
Arequipa – Chivay
You will be picked up from your hotel or hostel in the center of the city of Arequipa between 7:30 am Upon arrival in Chivay, we will have lunch and you will have the opportunity to leave your belongings at your hotel. At 3:00 p.m. we have an optional excursion to the La Calera hot springs where you will have one (1) hour to bathe in the hot springs. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and then you will retire to your hotel for the night.

day 2
Day 2 Chivay – Cruz del condor - Arequipa
Chivay – Cruz del condor – Arequipa
After having breakfast at your hotel the next morning, we will pick you up for a two (2) hour drive to Cruz del Cóndor, a viewpoint located on the edge of the canyon. Here you will have one (1) hour to enjoy the view and look for condors flying overhead. We will make our way back to Chivay making stops in Antawilke to see pre-Inca terraces and a small colonial town called Maca. Upon arrival in Chivay we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch before heading back to Arequipa. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off two blocks from the Plaza de Armas around 4:00 PM.
