City Tour (Ancient and Modern Lima)

At 13:30 we will pick you up from your hotel to enjoy our Lima tour of a tour knowing Lima city tour in its three stages; Ancestral, Colonial and Modern Lima.

We will start the tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid”, an ancient Ceremonial and archaeological Center built in the 4th century AD. and considered the Sacred Town of the Incas.

Then we will go to the Historic Center of Lima. Where we will appreciate what was the old Square Lima and we will appreciate more than fifty monuments, and colonial buildings among which the Paseo de la Republica, the Plaza San Martin, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Palace Archbishop, The Cathedral Basilica, among others.

Continuing the tour we will visit the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank where we will appreciate the Collection of Treasures of Peru, among which we will find ceramic, Gold and Textile objects from various pre – Columbian cultures.

We will also find the Monumental Ensemble of San Francisco that constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Where its main attraction is the visit to its underground crypts known as Las Catacumbas.

Finally before finishing our Lima tour we will go to the Contemporary Zone of Lima where we will appreciate the main buildings and the residential areas of Lima, El Olivar de San isidro, Miraflores, Larcomar and the Parque del Amor.

ITINERARY

Lima – Paracas – Ica (Huacachina – tubular – sandboarding)

05:30 A.M.          Departure for the Paracas Spa, (approximately 04 hours of travel) in tourist mobility from the chosen concentration place.

09:30 AM:           Arrival in Paracas we will go to the El Chaco pier, from this place we will depart towards the BALLESTAS ISLANDS in modern gliders where you can enjoy a wonderful tour to the BALLESTAS ISLANDS, located in the Bay of Paracas. Where you can appreciate this wonder of nature and wild marine life such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black or guanay cormorants, flamingos, parihuanas and various seabirds.

The sea lions will probably come up to the boat and many penguins are seen in the water. Thousands of seabirds fly between the islands and their nests can be seen on the rocks.

01:30 PM:           Excursion to the Nietto Winery where the grape brandy, famously known as Pisco, is made. Antigua Bodega Fundo Tres esquinas, where we will show you the entire process of how Peruvian Wine and Pisco is made in an artisanal way since 1856, guided by an experienced worker from the winery.

Here we will find antique pieces such as Barro Botijas, copper skirt and Huarango press which are used today.

Trip to the City of Cusco

On this day you will have to take a flight to the city of Cusco, which is approximately 1:30 min.

Around (09:00 am hrs or 13:00 pm). you will be picked up from your hotel so that you can make the City Tour in the city of Cusco, your first destination to visit will be the Temple of Qoricancha (golden venue), this place was one of the ceremonial centers most important for the Incas, in which the most important ceremonies were performed, at the same time it was used to keep the main idols they had as Gods.

The second tourist place on this City Tour will be the Archaeological Center of Sacsayhuamán. The “ceremonial fortress” of Sacsayhuamán is, with its megalithic walls, the greatest architectural work that the Incas carried out during its heyday. Sacred Valley – Machupichu Pueblo

Visit to Rainbow Mountain

RECOMMENDATION: All lovers of this adventure are recommended to stay at least 2 days for acclimatization in Cusco due to the altitude. Remember that although the walk is around 2 hours out and 2 hours back if you are not well acclimatized you can have difficulties during the journey.

This Rainbow Mountain tour starts very early with the departure from Cusco.
