Machu Picchu Pueblo
DAY 1: CUSCO-OLLANTAYTAMBO-AGUAS CALIENTES
Pick up from the hotel in Cusco from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. We will transfer you to the Ollantaytambo station, the bus trip will take around 2 hours. We will arrive in Ollantaytambo at approximately 10:30 am. In Ollantaytambo, we will have to take our train to Aguas Calientes. It will be important to already have a repellent against mosquitoes.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes between 12:45 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. an agent will wait for us to receive us and go to the chosen hotel, to then have the afternoon free and visit the town of Aguas Calientes, the hot springs, lunch of your choice *not included *
At night around 7:30 pm our professional guide comes to give us an informative talk *Briefing* before the visit to the citadel, he will coordinate all the schedules and meeting points for the next day.
You will spend the night in the reserved hotel.
DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES-MACHUPICCHU/HUAYNAPICCHU-CUSCO
Around 5:30 am we will have breakfast at our hotel, after that we will go to the bus station, in 30 minutes we will arrive at the entrance gate to Machu Picchu, for the visit we will have the entrance ticket Circuit 2: Huaynapicchu Mountain.
First we will start visiting a part of the Machupicchu citadel, our guide will tell us the in-depth history of each sector in about 45 minutes. We will also be able to take some photos to continue along the platforms and stairs.
We will begin the ascent to the Huaynapicchu Mountain
We will be able to ascend without problems by the signaling of the path to Huayna Picchu. This tour lasts 2 hours. From this place we will be able to appreciate the wonderful constructions from another angle, we can stay 40 minutes on the mountain, take souvenir photos, enjoy the view, have an interesting explanation and finally begin the descent. The return will be by the same path to reach the bus station and get on to return in 30 minutes to the town of Aguas Calientes, here we will arrive at approximately 1:00pm, we will have free time until 4pm, 6pm or 7pm train return times *free choice*, meanwhile We will be able to enjoy lunch and a hydrating drink in this town.
Once we board the train our destination will be Ollantaytambo, where we will have the minivan transportation service to get to Cusco.
It is estimated to arrive in Cusco according to the return time of the train, counting a total of 4 hours train + bus.

RECOMENDATIONS
When to go to Machu Picchu?
- To plan the trip to Machu Picchu, first decide the season in which you will visit Cusco in Peru.
- There are 2 seasons in Cusco: the dry season (April to October) where there is not much rain and the rainy season (November to March) where fluvial rainfall is more frequent.
- Once you have decided on the date you want to visit the Wonder of the World, buy tickets to Machu Picchu in advance.
- Make the reservation of the Machu Picchu entrance with time in advance. So you can better plan tours, hotel reservations, trains, flights and more.
- If you are going to do the Inca Trail, book your tour 4, 5 or 6 months in advance. Otherwise you will not find availability.
- The entrance ticket to the Huayna Picchu mountain must also be purchased up to 3 months before.
