Departure from Cusco | Approx. 4:00 a.m.
We start early with pickup at your hotel in Cusco. Our staff will assist you during the transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will begin our journey to Machu Picchu, leaving the Andes behind as we head into the green landscapes of the high jungle.
Scenic Journey to | Aguas Calientes
From Ollantaytambo, we will board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes. Along the way, take in the mountains, the Urubamba River, and the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Enjoy the changing scenery as we approach one of Peru’s most fascinating destinations.
Arrival in Aguas Calientes and Ascent to | Machu Picchu
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our guide will meet you and give you directions to continue the adventure. After a short briefing, we will head to the Consettur bus station for a ride of about 25 minutes up a winding road, surrounded by mountains and vegetation, to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

The most anticipated moment has arrived! Explore the impressive Inca citadel with our specialized guide, who will accompany you on a visit of about 2 to 3 hours.

Student discount requirement
Physical university ID (PVC card), valid during the year of travel and showing full name, photo, university and expiration date. ISIC cards, digital certificates and screenshots are not accepted. Send a copy at the time of booking.
Payment
You can pay in full when booking or, if you prefer, secure your spot with a US$ 200 deposit per person. In that case, the balance must be paid no later than the day before the tour.

Recomendations
- To plan your trip to Machu Picchu, first decide which season you will visit Cusco, Peru.
- Cusco has 2 seasons: the dry season (April to October), with little rain, and the rainy season (November to March), when rainfall is more frequent.
- Once you have chosen the date you want to visit this Wonder of the World, buy your Machu Picchu tickets in advance.
- Book your Machu Picchu ticket well ahead of time. This way, you can better plan your tours, hotels, trains, flights, and more.
- If you plan to hike the Inca Trail, book your tour 4, 5, or 6 months in advance; otherwise, you may not find availability.
- Tickets for Huayna Picchu Mountain should also be purchased up to 3 months in advance.
