We start early with pickup at your hotel in Cusco. Our staff will assist you during the transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will begin our journey to Machu Picchu, leaving the Andes behind as we head into the green landscapes of the high jungle.

From Ollantaytambo, we will board the exclusive Vistadome Observatory train, where the stunning landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas take center stage. Arrival in Aguas Calientes and Ascent to Machu Picchu
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our guide will meet you and give you directions to continue the adventure. After a short briefing, we will head to the Consettur bus station for a ride of about 25 minutes up a winding road, surrounded by mountains and vegetation, to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Student discount requirement
Physical university ID (PVC card), valid during the year of travel and showing full name, photo, university and expiration date. ISIC cards, digital certificates and screenshots are not accepted. Send a copy at the time of booking.
Payment
You can pay in full when booking or, if you prefer, secure your spot with a US$ 200 deposit per person. In that case, the balance must be paid no later than the day before the tour.

- To plan your trip to Machu Picchu, first decide which season you will visit Cusco, Peru.
- Cusco has 2 seasons: the dry season (April to October), with little rain, and the rainy season (November to March), when rainfall is more frequent.
- Once you have chosen the date you want to visit this Wonder of the World, buy your Machu Picchu tickets in advance.
- Book your Machu Picchu ticket well ahead of time. This way, you can better plan your tours, hotels, trains, flights, and more.
- If you plan to hike the Inca Trail, you can choose between the 2-Day Inca Trail and the Classic 4-Day Inca Trail. Book your tour 4, 5, or 6 months in advance; otherwise, availability will be very limited.
