How to Know If Our Travel Agency Is Trustworthy:
Sakura Expedition is a 100% locally operated company, locally owned, with 7 years of experience in the tourism market. Our permits issued by the Government confirm this, and you can verify them with our codes at the registrar’s office in Cusco and those issued by Gercetour and Senanp. Additionally, we have a registered office located in the heart of Cusco where we will attend to you with the respect and kindness you deserve.
Our Reservation System:
Every year, our reservation systems have improved, and today our Inca Trail reservation system is easy and user-friendly. In just 3 steps, you can book your trip and receive a detailed invoice. If you encounter any issues, our reservation staff will immediately reach out to assist you.
Pre-Trek Information Session:
It’s crucial for our clients to receive detailed information from their guide one or two days before their trip. This allows them to prepare their backpack and address any last-minute concerns for a dreamy journey.
Travel Bag or Duffel Bag:
Our clients will receive a travel bag at no extra cost to carry their extra luggage. Each client is given 5 kilos of free allowance, which will be carried by the porter or support staff. Any extra weight will incur an additional cost. If extra horses are required, it’s essential to book them in advance.
Comfortable Hotel in Aguas Calientes:
After this fantastic journey, we understand the importance of our clients having a comfortable and cozy rest. That’s why we’ve chosen a high-quality hotel to ensure a wonderful stay in our famous, small, and friendly town of Aguas Calientes. During starry nights, you’ll feel like you’re under the enormous mountains surrounding this quaint town, where everything is within walking distance.
Meals:
We include meals from the first day of your departure. We prioritize your health, so we’re prepared to accommodate any dietary requirements you may have. It’s important to inform us a day before your Salkantay Trek tour.
Environmental Conservation:
We understand the importance of environmental conservation and our love for Pachamama (Mother Earth). Therefore, everything we use is reusable and recyclable. We also ask our visitors not to leave any waste behind to avoid polluting our trails.
Continuous Training for Our Team:
It’s crucial for us that our staff is well-trained in all areas. We carefully select and continually train our team to address and resolve all our clients’ concerns.
First Aid:
Our entire team, including guides, drivers, porters, office staff, and everyone involved, receives first aid training annually to be prepared for any emergencies during our journey. We also collaborate with clinics to provide support at all times.
Carrying Oxygen Tanks:
Oxygen tanks are mandatory on our trip, and our guides will carry them at all times. We understand that we reach altitudes that can cause discomfort for our visitors, so we are prepared. Oxygen will only be used in emergencies.
Our Professional Guides:
We have the best professional guides, passionate about their culture and proficient in multiple languages. They are dedicated to serving our visitors with care and kindness.
