ATV TOUR TO MARAS AND MORAY – HALF DAY

Our Maras Moray ATV tour experience begins at Plaza Regocijo in Cusco, from where we depart for Cruzpata (Maras) on a journey of approximately one hour, offering stunning views of the impressive landscapes. Upon arrival, our guide will provide a safety briefing and driving instructions, followed by 15 minutes of practice, which is perfect for familiarizing ourselves with the ATVs and building confidence before starting the adventure.

Once we’re familiar with the ATV, we’ll head to Moray, traveling along paths that are surrounded by agricultural fields and mountains, and offer spectacular views of the Sacred Valley. The total duration of the route is approximately two hours and twenty minutes (round trip); the route gives us enough time to enjoy every moment of the landscape and adventure.

At the archaeological site of Moray, we’ll make a stop of about twenty minutes to explore this fascinating Inca agricultural laboratory, where circular terraces were created to produce different microclimates for crop experimentation. It’s a place rich in history, set against an impressive natural landscape.

Afterward, we’ll return on ATVs to Cruzpata to continue our journey by vehicle to the Maras Salt Mines, a collection of thousands of natural salt pools that descend the mountainside and have been exploited artisanally since pre-Inca times. Here we’ll take a tour to enjoy the landscape and capture unique photographs.

Finally, we’ll board the vehicle again to return to the city of Cusco, carrying with us the excitement of a day full of adventure, living culture, and unforgettable landscapes.
