How long is the tour?
About 5 hours, including transfers from Cusco, the driving practice, the ATV ride and the visits to Moray and the Maras Salt Mines.
What are the schedules?
There are two shifts: morning, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and afternoon, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

No. Before starting, the guide gives a safety talk and a driving practice so you can get used to the ATV safely, and stays with the group the whole way.

Can children take part?
Yes, as passengers, always with an adult and following the guide’s instructions.
Which places will I visit?
Cruzpata (Maras), the Moray archaeological site and the Maras Salt Mines. If you prefer, you can choose the alternative Huaypo Lagoon and Maras Salt Mines route, with the same schedule and price.
Is the whole route by ATV?
No. The ATV ride goes from Cruzpata to Moray, about 2 hours round trip, on rural roads among mountains and fields. Then we return to Cruzpata and continue by tourist transport to the Maras Salt Mines.
What scenery will I see?
Views of the Sacred Valley, farm fields, Andean mountains and, on clear days, the snow-capped Verónica and Chicón peaks.

No. It is paid at the entrance checkpoint and costs S/ 20 per person.

The highest point is Moray, at 3,500 m (11,483 ft), and the lowest are Cruzpata and the Maras Salt Mines, at 3,380 m (11,089 ft).
How difficult is it?
Easy. You need no previous experience or special fitness, and it is suitable for most travelers.
