The journey begins very early, with pickup from your hotel in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 in the morning. During a journey of approximately 2 hours, the landscapes of the Southern Valley are enjoyed, as well as the sunrise among fields and Andean mountains.

The first stop of the tour is the town of Cusipata (3,300 meters above sea level / 10,827 feet), where breakfast is enjoyed to start the adventure with energy. Subsequently, the journey continues for another 2 hours until reaching the community of Marangani (3,709 meters above sea level / 12,169 feet). From this place, an additional 30-minute stretch on dirt road is covered to reach the starting point of the hike.

Around 9:30 in the morning, you arrive at the starting point of the hike to Pallay Punchu (4,730 meters above sea level / 15,518 feet). The ascent lasts approximately 40 minutes and allows you to visit incredible viewpoints, where you can see the Langui-Layo lagoon surrounded by the mountains of the range.
