The VIP Sacred Valley tour begins with pickup from your Cusco hotel between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning.
The journey traverses incredible Andean landscapes until reaching Chinchero, where a tour will take place from approximately 8:00 to 9:30 in the morning. In this place, the archeological center is visited first, where the remnants of Inca terraces and walls coexist with colonial architecture. Afterward, the local communities closely showcase the ancestral textile tradition, from the natural dyeing process with plants and minerals to weaving on a loom.
Next, the journey will continue toward the Circular Terraces of Moray, around 10:00 in the morning. It is believed that this place may have served as an agricultural laboratory, due to the multiple microclimates presented by the terraces, which would have helped experiment with various types of products.
After appreciating the incredible landscapes of Moray, the next stop on the tour will be the Maras Salt Mines at 11:15 in the morning. In this place, there are more than three thousand stepped pools that come from an underground spring; the panorama formed by each of them creates one of the most photogenic landscapes in the world.
At 12:30 PM, there will be a gastronomic break for lunch in Urubamba, discovering a great selection of typical Andean dishes in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Continuing the tour, after recharging with lunch, Ollantaytambo will be visited around 2:30 in the afternoon. Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca cities in Peru, with its imposing temple-fortress, its ceremonial fountains, and the town's streets that maintain the original layout from the times of the Tahuantinsuyo.
The tour concludes in Pisac, where there will be a visit approximately from 4:30 to 6:30 in the afternoon, exploring its archeological complex, its extensive agricultural terraces with the best panoramic views of the valley, and its colorful artisan market.
