SUPER SACRED VALLEY ITINERARY - 1 DAY
The Super Sacred Valley adventure begins at dawn with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, heading to Chinchero, the highest natural viewpoint between the city and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. There, we’ll explore the archaeological zone and a vibrant artisan center, where you can marvel at the living art of Andean textiles, observing up close how colors and forms come to life through ancestral techniques that endure to this day.
The journey continues to the amazing Circular Terraces of Moray, a natural Inca laboratory where microclimates allowed experiments with crops from the highlands, coast, and jungle. Later, we’ll be amazed by the Maras Salt Mines, a landscape of thousands of salt pools that shine under the sun, and which, since pre-Inca times, have continued to be worked with artisanal dedication.
Next, Urubamba awaits us, the beating heart of the Sacred Valley, where we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch surrounded by the majesty of the Andean landscapes.
In the afternoon, we’ll venture into the imposing Fortress of Ollantaytambo, a place where the military, agricultural, and ceremonial history of the Incas intertwines and which today marks the beginning of the route to the legendary Machu Picchu.
To conclude the tour, we’ll visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, renowned for its terraces that defy the mountain, its ancestral temples, and its vibrant artisan market, where you can discover authentic textiles, ceramics, and local crafts. We’ll return to Cusco, carrying in our hearts unforgettable memories of the treasures and wonders of the Sacred Valley.
