day 1
PUERTO MALDONADO - PUERTO CAPITANÍA - COCHA CAIMÁN
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the biodiversity capital, our team will welcome you at the airport to begin this adventure through the Tambopata jungle. We start with a panoramic tour of the city before heading to Capitanía Port, where we will board a boat to navigate the Madre de Dios River to our eco-lodge.
Along the way, we will see local plantations and lush tropical rainforest that marks our entry into the heart of Tambopata. Upon arrival at the lodge, we will receive a warm welcome and enjoy lunch made with Amazonian ingredients.
In the afternoon, we will set off on a hike to Cocha Caimán, a natural lake surrounded by lush vegetation and home to black and white caimans. Cocha Caimán is perfect for watching waterbirds, enjoying a magical sunset, and connecting with the living essence of Tambopata.
As night falls, we return to the lodge to enjoy a traditional dinner and rest amid the natural sounds of the jungle. Sleeping in the heart of the rainforest will be an unforgettable experience that captures the tranquility and beauty of the Amazon.
day 2
BUNGALOWS - LAGO APU VÍCTOR - ISLA MONOS
After a nourishing breakfast, we set off on a hike to Lake Apu Víctor, one of the natural gems of Tambopata. Along the way, we pass through a variety of ecosystems, including riverside and swamp forests, where we can see centuries-old trees, orchids, and tropical birds.
Upon reaching Lake Apu Víctor, we will climb an observation platform to take in this spectacular body of water surrounded by palm trees and aguaje palm swamps. At Lake Apu Víctor, you can spot turtles, caimans, giant otters, migratory fish, and a wide variety of birds. Its tranquility makes it one of the most impressive places in Tambopata.
After this visit, we return to the lodge to enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will set off by boat to Monkey Island, a nature reserve home to several primate species, such as the spider monkey, squirrel monkey, pygmy marmoset, and capuchin. Monkey Island is the ideal place to see these charismatic animals up close, learn about their behavior, and take unique photos.
As the sun sets over Monkey Island, we will enjoy an unforgettable Amazon sunset before returning to the lodge. In the evening, we will have dinner and share stories of our adventures at Lake Apu Víctor, Cocha Caimán, and Monkey Island.
day 3
BUNGALOWS - COCHA PERDIDA
At dawn, the jungle wakes up with a natural concert of birds. After breakfast, we head to Cocha Perdida, one of the most important ecosystems in Tambopata. On the hike, we will cross hanging bridges and trails lined with medicinal, fruit, and timber trees.
Cocha Perdida offers a dreamlike landscape where we can spot birds, caimans, and, with luck, the impressive giant otter. From its viewpoint, you can take in a natural setting similar to that of Lake Apu Víctor, with aguaje palm swamps and wetlands full of life.
Back at the lodge, we will enjoy lunch and have time to visit the botanical garden, rest, or take photos. In the evening, dinner accompanied by the sounds of the jungle bids us farewell to this magical setting, where Cocha Caimán, Lake Apu Víctor, and Monkey Island embody the essence of Tambopata.
day 4
BUNGALOWS - PUERTO MALDONADO
We start the day with a nourishing breakfast in the lodge dining room; afterward, we navigate the Madre de Dios River once again back to Puerto Maldonado. We say goodbye to the jungle, carrying with us memories of the landscapes of Lake Apu Víctor, the serenity of Cocha Caimán, and the joy of Monkey Island.
Every corner of Tambopata reminds us of the vastness and beauty of the Amazon, a place that always invites you to return.

You can pay the total when booking or, if you prefer, secure your spot with a 50% deposit per person. In that case, the balance is paid at most the day before the tour.
