No early start, no rush, and no long hike! Explore Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley by ATV, enjoying every landscape and every stop at a more relaxed pace. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in the Peruvian Andes!
Our experience begins at 6:00 a.m. with pickup at your hotel in Cusco. We will travel about 2 hours to the picturesque village of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast to recharge before starting our adventure.
Then, we will continue for about 1 hour by vehicle to Pitumarca, the starting point of our exciting ATV route. Before setting off, our team will give us a practical briefing of about 15 minutes to get familiar with driving the vehicles and the safety measures.
It’s time for adventure! We will begin a ride of about 30 minutes by ATV, surrounded by mountains and high Andean landscapes, until we get close to the stunning Seven-Colored Mountain (Vinicunca). From there, just steps from the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint, you can admire its fascinating natural colors and enjoy free time to take photos. With this schedule, we aim to visit the attractions at a different time from the traditional departures and enjoy each stop more calmly, although the number of visitors may vary from day to day.
The adventure continues to the amazing Red Valley, where the mountains seem covered by an immense carpet of reddish tones. We will walk around the area, admire the contrasting colors, and capture unforgettable photos of this extraordinary Andean landscape.
After exploring both attractions, we will ride the ATVs back to the starting point and board our transportation to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring local cuisine.
Finally, we will head back to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon with unforgettable memories of an experience that combines adventure, nature, and unique landscapes, all without having to wake up too early!
