ATV TOUR TO RED VALLEY AND RAINBOW MOUNTAIN ITINERARY - 1 DAY
Our experience on the ATV tour to Red Valley and Rainbow Mountain begins very early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, to start a journey of approximately 2 hours to the picturesque town of Cusipata. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a comforting Andean breakfast that will fill us with energy and enthusiasm as we begin the day’s journey.
We then continue for 1 more hour by vehicle to Laya, the starting point of our ATV adventure. Before departing, we’ll receive 15 minutes of practical instruction, during which we’ll learn to drive and become familiar with operating the machines, ensuring a safe and exciting experience.
Our ATV adventure then begins, lasting 40 minutes, as we ascend along a path surrounded by the impressive landscapes of the Red Valley. This little-explored corner captivates with its intense tones and mystical atmosphere. Upon reaching the upper part, we’ll begin a 20-minute hike to the famous Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca).
Along the way, we’ll enjoy a privileged view from the Red Valley viewpoint, a unique natural setting that few travelers are aware of. Upon reaching Rainbow Mountain, we’ll have time to marvel at this view, take spectacular photographs, and connect with the beauty of the Andes.
Afterward, we’ll return to the ATVs to descend to the parking area and board our vehicle, which will take us to Cusipata, where a buffet lunch awaits us. Finally, we’ll begin the return journey to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon with our hearts full of landscapes, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
