ATV Huaypo y Piuray – Half day

This program begins with a pick-up from your hotel. Once everyone is gathered, our transportation will take us to Cruzpata, a journey of approximately 50 minutes through charming villages and stunning landscapes typical of the Peruvian Andes.

In Cruzpata, our guide will be waiting to give us a brief talk and demonstration on the proper use of ATVs and safety equipment. After practicing for about 20 minutes, we will begin our tour towards the sister lagoons.

Our first stop will be Huaypo Lagoon, whose crystal-clear waters perfectly contrast with the surrounding mountains and farmlands. Many stories are told about this lagoon, including one that says that every full moon, the moon’s reflection appears in its waters, revealing an ancient citadel filled with lights in the depths.

Another story associated with this place is related to UFOs, as some locals claim to have encountered them and even made contact with beings from other planets.

We’ll continue our fun ATV tour to Piuray Lagoon (sister lagoon to Huaypo Lagoon), passing through the town of Chinchero along the way. At Piuray Lagoon, we’ll have the opportunity to spot some seasonal birds before heading to the “Mirador de los 5 Nevados” (Viewpoint of the Five Snow-Capped Peaks), where you can see the five snow-capped mountains that protect the entire Sacred Valley.

We’ll finish the tour by leaving the ATVs in Cruzpata and then returning to Cusco in our vehicle.
