ATV TOUR TO RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – 1 DAY

The ATV adventure to Rainbow Mountain begins at dawn, when we pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and depart for Cusipata. There, an Andean breakfast full of authentic flavors awaits us to recharge our energy and prepare for the day.

Next, we head to the ATV station, the starting point of the adventure. Here, our professional guide will give us driving and safety instructions, as well as a brief practice session to familiarize ourselves with using the ATVs on Rainbow Mountain. This preparation ensures that everyone enjoys the route with confidence and safety.

Once ready, we embark on an exciting journey of approximately one hour, crossing Andean trails surrounded by impressive landscapes: snow-capped mountains, open valleys, and the daily lives of local communities. Adrenaline combines with the beauty of the surroundings, turning the journey into a unique experience.

Upon reaching the final ATV point, we take a short hike to reach the famous Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). This natural setting features multicolored stripes, the result of a combination of minerals and erosion that has occurred over millions of years. At the summit, we’ll have enough time for photographs, exploration, and contemplation of this unique landscape in the world.

Then, we begin the return on ATVs to the station, where transportation back awaits us. In Cusipata, we savor a traditional buffet lunch before returning to Cusco. Although the arrival time may vary, what remains is the excitement and unforgettable memory of this Andean journey on wheels.
