Itinerary

Discover what awaits you in the Machu Picchu By Train + Waynapicchu Full Day

The Machu Picchu and Huaynapicchu tour begins very early, with pick-up at your hotel in Cusco between 3:50 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. to head to Ollantaytambo train station, from where we’ll take the tourist train bound for Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). During the journey, you can enjoy the landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the Urubamba River.

Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, we’ll board the Consettur bus, which will take us 25 minutes to the Machu Picchu Citadel. Here we’ll take a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, touring the temples, terraces, and main sectors of the sanctuary.

Then we’ll begin the exciting hike to Huaynapicchu mountain, one of the most outstanding attractions. The ascent takes around 2 hours, and at the summit, you can stay a maximum of 30 minutes to take photographs and enjoy a unique view of Machu Picchu and its surroundings.

After the descent, we’ll return by bus to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where we’ll have free time to stroll through the town, enjoy local cuisine, or, if desired, relax in the Machu Picchu hot springs. Finally, we’ll board the tourist train back to Ollantaytambo station and then transportation to Cusco, arriving at approximately 10:00 p.m.
