Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Machu Picchu
We pick you up at your hotel in Cusco between 3:50 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., a favorable time for you to enjoy your tour with peace of mind, and we transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station (approximately 2 hours), on the way you will be able to see what peculiar to the sacred valley of the Incas and its inter-Andean landscapes. Arriving at the train station we head towards the town of Aguas Caliente. During this new journey you will be able to appreciate part of the Andes mountain range and its imposing snow-capped peaks such as Verónica, in addition the climate will become warmer and the railway will follow the course Wilkamayu river (or sacred river) throughout the journey. Upon arrival at Machu Picchu Pueblo or Aguas-Calientes, which is located at the foot of the same mountain (approximately 07:45 am), we will take the buses to go up to the sacred city of the Incas “Machu Picchu” it takes 30 minutes, the visit will be by in the morning 9am, the time when the citadel is quieter, so you will have an unforgettable experience with your professional guide, who will offer you all the information on the history and mystery of this world wonder, (the tour has a approximately 2 hours). Once the guide is finished, they have free time to climb the Huayna Picchu mountain at 11:20 am (approximately 2 hours of walking), at the top you can stay for a maximum of 30 minutes, which we will take advantage of to take the best views and enjoy the wonderful landscape. Later we begin the descent to leave the archaeological complex to take the buses again and go to the town of Aguas Calientes and have free time in the town, to be able to take a walk and have lunch. Subsequently, the return train is boarded at 4:22 p.m. or 6:20 p.m. and headed to the Ollantaytambo station. Then take the transport that will be waiting for you and leave for the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 10pm (The tour ends near the Plaza Regocijos so that you can take advantage of dinner, or if you wish at your hotel where the service ends)

When to go to Machu Picchu?
- To plan the tour to Machu Picchu, first decide the season in which you will visit Cusco in Peru.
- There are 2 seasons in Cusco: the dry season (April to October) where there is not much rain and the rainy season (November to March) where fluvial rainfall is more frequent.
- Once you have decided on the date you want to visit the Wonder of the World, buy tickets to Machu Picchu in advance.
- Make the reservation of the Machu Picchu entrance with time in advance. So you can better plan tours, hotel reservations, trains, flights and more.
- If you are going to do the Inca Trail, book your tour 4, 5 or 6 months in advance. Otherwise you will not find availability.
- The entrance ticket to the Huayna Picchu mountain must also be purchased up to 3 months before.
