Itinerary
Discover what awaits you in the SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – 1 DAY
day 1
Tour Valle Sagrado
Our Sacred Valley Tour begins early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, to start a day filled with Andean landscapes, living culture, and archaeological sites that preserve the essence of the Inca Empire.
Our first stop takes us to the natural viewpoints of the Sacred Valley, where spectacular views invite you to capture unforgettable postcards of majestic mountains and fertile valleys that embrace the region.
The journey continues to Pisac, famous for its artisan market, a mosaic of colors, aromas, and traditions that intertwine at every corner. Later, we’ll venture into the archaeological complex of Pisac, where the intact agricultural terraces and Inca temples reveal the majesty of Inca architecture.
At midday, we continue exploring the Sacred Valley and arrive in Urubamba, the heart of the valley, to savor a buffet lunch at an Andean restaurant, surrounded by mountains that inspire calm and contemplation.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore the imposing Fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the most emblematic military and agricultural centers of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Its temples, terraces, and cobblestone streets invite you to imagine the vibrant life of a citadel that remains as a silent witness to history.
On our way back to Cusco, we’ll make a final stop in the picturesque town of Chinchero. This place seems frozen in time, and you’ll participate in a textile demonstration about ancestral wool dyeing techniques using natural pigments.
In the evening, we’ll return to Cusco, carrying with us a unique experience and the living memory of the landscapes, traditions, and archaeological sites that make the Sacred Valley of the Incas an essential destination.

Recomendations
Every day more tourists visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This caused an increase in the hotel offer in that part of Cusco. There are luxury hotels built on old farms and corn fields, both in harmony with nature. There is also the so-called ‘most terrifying hotel in the world’, which is perched on a cliff 400 meters above the Urubamba river. There are also a variety of accommodations for all kinds of tastes and prices. It is no longer necessary to go to Cusco to find an inn. It is advisable to spend at least one night in the valley, surrounded by immense mountains and the spectacle of nature.
Doing this program is good to be able to acclimatize before starting programs at higher altitudes, such as the Inca Trail, Rainbow Mountain, Humantay Lagoon or other activities that require acclimatization.
